Exploring the Potentials of Sensory Experience in Ceramics

April's current body of work explores touch and its value in creating direct connections between people and the world around them. The work focuses on the tactile qualities of objects that enhance the senses rather than focusing solely on the visual perception of an object. It looks at how perceiving an object through touch leaves a more detailed and durable memory of that object.

You are encouraged to touch the art. It is an exploration of the tactile sense.
